Project Name: Author visit
Overview
This project is intended to fill a specific set of user needs. It is based on the following data:
- Bring an author or illustrator to the school setting
- Show learners the development of a book
- Create and environment that accepts open mindedness and creative ideas
Objectives
This project should have the following impact on our school:
- Students will be more interested in reading more about books the author or illustrator
- Students will be exposed to a variety of literacy ideas and how to follow through to an end product
- Students will be involved in the process of creating books
